Sonya is Alaskan Native- Raven clan, Haida & Tsimshian,
who grew up in S.E. Alaska and is an enrolled member of Ketchikan Indian Community &
Central Council of the Tlingit and Haida tribes of
Indian Tribes of Alaska (CCTHITA).
She has completed QEW courses with University of Alaska Fairbanks, University of Washington, National Indian Child Welfare Association, and Native American Training Institute's Apache tribe workshop.
